Mr. Yorke's Teaching Style

Is Mr. Yorke teaching us? This is a question that many students at SSCS have asked. It seems as though Mr. Yorke completely bases his teaching off of the iPads. A few students seem to be annoyed with this in the classroom.

A few students at SSCS aren't pleased with the fact that Mr. Yorke's teaching is purely based off of the iPads. One reason for this is the amount of glitches the iPads have, making things even more frustrating for the class of 2016. A good example of this is the constant crashes when we enter the wix site.

One teaching style that Mr. Yorke uses is allowing the class to choose his/her's assignment. This is another one that people have different opinions about. Some students like the idea of having to choose their own

topic. They said that it makes them more interested in what their studying which will ultimately make the final result better. Other students didn't like this idea. They liked the traditional style which is the teacher telling the class what to do.

Based on being in the class for awhile. Students seem to not like the things that Mr. Yorke does. A lot of students think that the assignments Mr. Yorke gives us is completely ridiculous, which I agree with them. So based on my research, I have came to the conclusion that many students do not agree with Mr. Yorke's teaching style and would like the teacher to use different methods of learning.
