The vision of the SLN (Spartan Learning Network) is to be the most up-to-date, accurate, concise and interesting source of news, sports, and entertainment for the greater SSCS community.
Mission
The mission of the SLN (Spartan Learning Network) is to contribute to SSCS’s core values of integrity, respect, and responsibility by clearly, engagingly, and ethically communicating with all stakeholders within the greater SSCS community daily happenings as well as important, broader issues.
The principles that staff members of SLN (Spartans Learning Network) should operate on are:

To assertively seek content that has high interest, impacts the audience, provokes discussion, and advances the audience members’ knowledge and encourage involvement in the SSCS community

To react quickly to any newsworthy events

To make the products as relevant to audience as possible by knowing what has happened, what is happening and what will happen in the news

To create a product that is a reflection of the diversity of the backgrounds, goals and interests of the viewers.

To consistently adhere to the ethical guidelines of SSCS and foster the most professional environment possible at all levels.
