A Trip to Peru!

On March 9, 2015 a couple of students from SSCS went to their school's board meeting to do a presentation to get their spanish club trip to Peru approved. By the end of the board meeting the trip was approved.

10th grader, Savannah Olsen is one of the members of Spanish club who presented at the board meeting. She presented a PowerPoint she composed based upon the trip to Peru: click here to view it.

SSCS Spanish teacher Ms. Connors spoke about how she felt before the meeting. She said "We had high hopes that our presentation to the BOE would be successful. We were very well prepared in the information that we delivered to the board members, as well as any questions that we thought the might ask."

After the board meeting was over Ms. Connors added "the spanish club members were very pleased with the outcome of the presentation on our trip to Peru."
